Federal Law on Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens

We hasten to inform you that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of the Russian Federation has prepared a draft law on amending the Federal Law on Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens on the basis of the recent Resolution of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation No. 22-P, which instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to explain the notion of "receiving party" more widely.

The draft amendments to the law are determined by the receiving party "a person who in fact has a foreign citizen or a stateless person and who in cases provided for by this law is obliged to perform the actions necessary for stating a foreign citizen or a stateless person to be registered at the place of stay" as the text of the project says.
